Carson Tower Rooms

Comfortable bed with Ipod dock on bedside table

Nice desk with lighted magnifying mirror

Corner seating area

Flat screen tv on dresser

The Carson Tower contains the "Golden Nugget's" basic rooms which as you can see from the pictures are still very nice and the best basic rooms downtown. These rooms used to be very feminine with lots of flowers but as you see now are very sleek looking. The Carson Tower is away from the Fremont Street Experiance so its a good choice for light sleepers.

Carson Rooms Registration Moved

If you are booked in the Carson Tower which is the properties less expensive rooms but still very nice, to check in go to the Gold Tower check in near the taxi/valet entrance and check in there. You instructions may say check in at the Carson Tower and in fact the signage that directs you there is still up in the hotel and it will send you around in circles. When the "Golden Nugget" opened their new Rush Tower which has its own check in area they closed the Carson Tower check in and combined it with the Gold Tower check in so they would still only have two main check in areas.

Buy Gold From A Machine

You can buy most things from a vending machines and now at the Golden Nugget in downtown you can buy small gold bars. The gold to go machine is located near the lobby and only takes cash and has a note on it that says purchases over $2,500 require your id be scanned to stop money laundering. This is an interesting idea and the fact that its in the Golden Nugget is the right place it will be interesting to see how it does. I don't know how the prices compare to buying elsewhere but on the largest size for an extra $50 you can have the Golden Nugget logo on your gold.
