Las Vegas Club Entrances

The Las Vegas club hotel is pretty much closed exept for peak times and with its closed restaurants its basically just a casino although there have been rumors about the hotel being remodeled not much has gone on. One thing that has happened is the nice signage that has been upgraded on two sides of the property hopefully this is a signal that someing might happen to remodel the property at some point.

Drink Cheap At The Las Vegas Club

The "Las Vegas Club" has made news here the last few months for a closed hotel a recently closed restaurant and more recently a planned hotel renovation:; But now some good news for our drinking readers the "Las Vegas Club" is running some drink specials in the casino bar which include 50 cent draft beers, no mention of size but what do you want for half a buck. The other drink specials are $2 well drinks and $1 drafts which is a good deal. One interesting note is the "Las Vegas Club" has been using the name logo LVC in its ads which is interesting in light of the "Las Vegas Hilton" renaming itself LVH let the land rush for renaming hotels with letters to begin. Hopefully other properties don't start becoming abbreviations as we're not ready for the "The Venetian" to be renamed TV.

“Las Vegas Club” Update

It seems the “Las Vegas Club” hotel is mainly closed right now and when I tried to check reservations nothing comes up. There were reports that the hotel is open for the big game and, also the occasional weekend but either way it seems as room rates there fell to less than $20 a night at times and with their remodeled sister property the “Plaza” across the street now open it seems a good time to take those rooms offline. This seems a smart move in the current climate and the rooms at the “Las Vegas Club” can be used as overflow as needed during peak times using “Plaza” staff. The temporary bingo room with the plywood walls has also closed and returned back to the “Plaza” which wasn’t really a surprise. Hopefully reports that the owners want to remodel the “Las Vegas Club” and turn it in to a boutique style hotel come true as the location at the top of the Fremont Street Experience is a perfect location.

"Las Vegas Club" Bingo

We don't often talk about bingo on LV Inside Out but if you are in downtown Las Vegas and are looking to play bingo the "Las Vegas Club" has a bingo room. The property makes a big deal that it is the only bingo room in downtown and drawings are at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm and 9pm daily. The bingo room is in the back of the property in the space that used to be things such as a showroom and sports bar. The bingo area is really just a section that has been sectioned off with playwood walls that doesn't go up to the ceiling; This seems a inexpensive way to put in a bingo parlor but with the current economy its most likely the best thing to do i also wonder if it will be moved to the "The Plaza" once it reopens. If the bingo urge gets you then walk all the way through the casino and past the restaurants to the bingo area.

Late Check Out Possible For A Fee

If you have to catch a later in the day flight or like to sleep in late after partying the night before there often is a way to check out late. Checking out later was often available at most properties by just calling the front desk and asking which they would often allow if the hotel wasn't too busy the next night. Most people didn't know about this option but now lots of hotels advertise the fact for a fee. "Luxor" i remember was one of the first that really pushed this option but its also available at places such as the "Las Vegas Club" which charges $20 to check out at 6pm subject to availability. I don't have an issue with them charging a small fee for this as means the room isnt available to much later in the day. To see if its available during your stay at the "Las Vegas Club" or any hotel contact the front desk of that property.
