In the past to visit an outlet mall in the past it usually mean't visiting a location in a the middle of nowhere; or in the case in Las Vegas it mean't visiting the middle of the desert at Stateline. Well now there is a better option as a few years ago the Las Vegas Premium Outlets opened close to downtown Las Vegas near the north end of the Strip. The outlet mall as most outlet malls has name brand merchandise at less than retail prices. The brands are generally high end brands that you find at department stores such as Tommy Hilfinger, Perry Ellis, Reebok, Lane Bryant, Jockey, Liz Claiborne and Calvin Klein.

Outlet Mall To Expand Downtown

An expansion to the Las Vegas Premium Outlets near Downtown Las Vegas is planned with completion expected in 2015. The planned expansion will add 35 stores to the outdoor mall and will increase the malls square footage by nearly a third and add 160,000 square feet of retail space. The first major tenant to be announced for the expansion is Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5^THbrand store with more stores to be announced in the future; As part of the expansion 513 new parking spaces are planned which is a big plus as at the holidays parking gets tight.
