Earl Of Sandwich Opens At "The Palms"

On Monday a second Earl Of Sandwich opened in Las Vegas this time at The Palms with our favorite Las Vegas star Holly Madison on hand at the openning. The Earl Of Sandwich is known for great sandwiches at a fair price and the location at Planet Hollywood has long been a favorite of ours at Las Vegas Inside Out and now its great to have a 2nd location to enjoy those tasty sandwiches at 2am after maybe a couple of drinks. "The Palms" is a off strip resort about a block from the strip and the new Earl Of Sandwich is open twenty four hours a day.

Earl Of Sandwich Coming To The "Palms"

For months in Las Vegas it has been rumored that a second location of the popular 'Earl Of Sandwich' was being added in Las Vegas to add to its existing location at "Planet Hollywood." The rumor became certain a couple of months back when i saw a banner at the "Palms" announcing the new location there at their food court. Even though the planned restaurant hasn't been added to their website it looks like soon Las Vegas visitors will have a second place to eat the tasty and fairly priced sandwiches. Playboy Club To Return?

Recently it was announced that the Playboy Club at the "Palms"is closing and the question was then would it be reopening at some point in a different location? Well it looks like we may have an answer in this tweet on twitter from Hugh Hefner 'The Vegas Playboy Club is closing with the change in the ownership of the Palms, a new Vegas location will be announced shortly.' Who knows if a new club will actually open but a new Playboy Club at "Planet Hollywood" were Mr Hefners ex Holly Madison works or at the "Hard Rock" would seem to make the most sense but other places such as the "Rio" or even "Red Rock" could be good places for a new club. Once the Playboy Club closes at the "Palms" im sure the huge Playboy logo on the side of the building will have to be removed but will they have to rename the Playboy suite at the property.

Playboy Club To Close At “The Palms”

“The Palms” has announced that in June the ‘Playboy Club’ on the property is going to close after a six year run with no announcement yet on what will replace it. Last November we reported that the bunnies were let go and replaced with agency girls also at the start of this year the ‘Playboy Comedy Lounge’ was closed so the question then was how long the ‘Playboy Club’ would remain open. No announcement yet on what will replace the ‘Playboy Club’ but I’m sure they will try to fill the space as soon as possible.

MTV At "The Palms"

Spring break is just around the corner and MTV is heading to the “Palms” for the second year in a row to produce their spring break programming. The festivities run at the “Palms” from March 20^th to March 22^nd and are set to air on their MTV, MTV2, as well as their mtvU channel. The event will be like the normal spring break show and include celebrity guests, concerts and of course lots of attractive people dancing for the cameras. Casting for the event will be March 19^th at the “Palms” which means us at Las Vegas Inside Out won’t be on camera as we are a little older than target age group for MTV. During the month of March the “Palms” will be having a pool party every day with the house DJ’s who will also provide background music during the MTV event. Bunnies Were Let Go At The "Palms"

There have been reports for about the last week that the "Palms" had laid off the iconic Playboy bunnies at the Playboy Club and replaced them with contract girls. We emailed the "Palms" to get clarification on what happened but we received no response and now the Vegas Chatter website is reporting that yes indeed the bunnies were let go after talking too a couple of them. I'm sure cutting the bunnies is a big cost saving in these tough times but i wonder after the main stream press picks up the story what damage it will do to attendance if any. In the long run i wonder what this means for the future of the Playboy Club i can understand having to make cuts in these tough times but letting go of such high profile people as the bunnies is an interesting move.

Say It Ain't So Unemployed Bunnies

There are reports that the "Palms" casino may have fired its Playboy bunnies and replaced them with less expensive agency girls just as they are showcasing their new Playboy Pit on the floor of the main casino. I don't know if they are using the agency girls just for the new Playboy Pit but several people have said that the Playboy bunnies are gone also from the Playboy Club. We are trying to get the "Palms" to confirm this and will update if we get a reply, if true im sure this is a cost cutting move as im sure the agency girls would be less expensive but its a shame.

Ellen Dealing Blackjack Tonight In LV

Tonight at 8pm at The Palms talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres will be at the Playboy Club dealing blackjack I don't think she needs a second job but it should be fun to watch. If you are in town and interesting in going, the Playboy Club is on the 52nd floor of the Fantasy Tower and has 9 blackjack tables, 1 roulette table and of course the world famous Playboy bunnies.
